Once, I went to Golden Temple, Amritsar, India, holy place for devotees of Sikhism. I find out that the Sikhs worship the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev, which are compiled in the form of Guru Granth Sahib. The Sikhs bow themselves in front of the Guru Granth Sahib to take message of service and development of community above themselves and pledge to follow the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev.
I live with the feeling of service and development of the community above myself.
Will Power:
There are many people who try to influence you by telling you that they know about your past, can see your future. They know the solutions to heal your suffering from the effect of some evil practices. The lazy and inactive people who lack confidence in their abilities get trapped in the web of such people.
But in reality, no one has the power, knowledge, wisdom to know your past, your future and influence on your wellbeing except you. You can remove your sufferings by your determination, will power and ability to put your words into action.
You acquire more diverse knowledge to enlighten yourself to serve the community with social responsibility.
Strength of Togetherness:
You break the web of myths and superstitions around you and start seeing the light in between them.
The essence of Guru Granth Sahib is – ‘Use your Will Power to Live with the Strength of Togetherness to Serve the Community.’
